St. Peter's Church is situated at the centre of Hindley. It stands tall and majestic and is a veritable "sermon in stone". We are a lively and vibrant Church especially in our worship. We have activities to suit all ages, especially for the young. There is a Sunday School, opportunitites to serve at the altar, to sing in the Junior Choir or learn how to play the bells. We have Boys' Brigade, Anchor Boy's, Junior and Company Section for the older boys.  We have a very active Guide unit, with Rainbows, Brownies and Guides. The Women's Guild and Men's Fellowship provide the adult fellowship.

We serve meals every Friday in the Church Meeting Room, which is open to all; and on certain Friday's of the month our Organist plays a selection of music while the meals are being served.

If you decide to come for a meal, please come early as we tend to run out of food by 12.00 noon.
