The aim of the CHYP team is to give support, training and encouragement to the leaders of our youth organisations.

This will come in form of:

1.  Support - providing a framework around which to encourage young people to learn about Christ.

2.  Training - help form an understanding of the needs of children and young people, to appreciate different styles of learning, evaluate their needs etc.

3.  Form a resource centre of visual aids and information that can be used in weekly meetings.

The first meeting, which will take the form of a basic training course covering the different styles of learning, will be on September 3rd at 7pm (venue to be decided).

The CHYP (chip) team will consist of members from all of our organisations, namely:

Creche

Sunday School

Servers etc

Bell Ringers

Rainbows

Brownies

Guides

Pre Junior Boys Brigade

Junior Boys Brigade

Choir

Church Factor

School
