'Cantique' was founded in 2007 to performs a wide range of music - classics such as Mendelssohn, Bach, Brahms and Faure, modern music - including works by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, Sting and Jepson - as well as music from madrigals to rock.

We have performed in many prestigious venues in the North West including Speke Hall, Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, Tatton Park, the Orient Express, Castle Howard and St. Peter's Church, Hindley.

Membership to the choir is by invitation.

Our Musical Director and Conductor is James Archer who was organ scholar at York Minster and Assistant at Beverley Minster.
