'Cantique' was formed on October 30th 2007 to perform a wide range of music:
- classics such as Mendelssohn, Bach, Brahms and Faure, modern music including works by Lauridsen, Whitacre, Sting, Lennon & McCartney and others as well as music from madrigal to rock. Membership to the choir is by invitation.
| We have sung in many prestigious venues including York Minster, Speke Hall, Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, Tatton Park, the Orient Express, Castle Howard, Leigh Parish Church and many more. For the 2010 Season Cantique are looking for one more of each: Soprano, Alto, Tenor & Bass as we plan on rehearsing some S.S.A.A.T.T.B.B. works next season. Extensive repertoire with up to 20 performances per year, on average. If you can read well, fit in with a small group of 25 people, then contact us.
